These terms are not mutually exclusive and we can prove it.

The first imperative has always been to use our available resources in a sensible way which preserves them for the future.

Hence the decision to develop an ultramodern and environmentally friendly biomass plant to supply Lech with energy. This grew out of the Lucian family’s experiences in installing the first biomass energy plant to supply the Burg Vital Resort and Burg Hotel.

And the instigator of the innovative tunnel system connecting all of Lech’s businesses underground was Fridolin Lucian.

Oberlech’s latest project points the way to the future. The use of a biomass combined heat and power plant which will eventually supply the whole of Oberlech with “clean energy”.
