The cozy atmosphere in our restaurant „Picea“ invites you to linger on and on. We welcome you to stay, relax and enjoy the culinary delights of countless regional, nationwide and seasonal products.

Culinary dishes

At our breakfast buffet you will find our homemade jams and müsli made with low-glycemic sugar alternatives and house-baked breads from ancient grains.

Our restaurant „Picea“ is the heart of the property, here you will be served your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additionally, during days of excellent weather conditions, we offer Lunch service al fresco on our sun terrace amid expansive and breathtaking views of the Arlberg mountain range.

Culinary concept „SIMPLY ENJOY!“

Our „SIMPLY ENJOY!“ menu centers on classic Austrian cuisine featuring products from the Lucian family‘s Juhu Ranch, the Hanseler Hof farm as well as other small family farms. Here you will find some of Burg Vital‘s most beloved house specialties accompanied by international influences.

These dishes are also always free of lactose, soy, sesame, seafood and peanuts.

Culinary concept „vitalCOOKING“

vitalCOOKING features a lunch menu or daily changing dinner menu of freshly prepared whole foods selected from market availability of vegetables and herbs. If so desired, these dishes can accompanied by fish or meat from regional and nationwide producers.

vitalCOOKING dishes are always prepared without wheat gluten, simple carbohydrates or products containing a high glycemic index. Furthermore, vitalCOOKING dishes are always free from lactose, soy, sesame, seafood and peanuts. Sweet preparation are made with low-glycemic alternative sugars: Galactose, xylose and erythritol.

Cheese and chocolates may contain traces of lactose and soya.

Dinner Preferences

In the evening, while our menu features 2 distinct culinary concepts, guests can select and mix courses from either menu, crafting a personalized dining experience in accordance with one‘s taste preferences.

Gourmet half-board

This can be taken either at lunch or for dinner. A refund of unused half board is not possible.

During our summer season (17th June to 19th September 2022) and our winter season (16th December 2021 to 24th April 2022) the restaurant is daily opened.

  • Breakfast 7.30 am to 10.30 pm
  • Lunch 12.00 pm to 2.30 pm
  • Afternoon menu 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm
  • Dinner from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm
