The cozy atmosphere in our restaurant „Picea“ invites you to linger on and on. We welcome you to stay, relax and enjoy the culinary delights of countless regional, nationwide and seasonal products.

Culinary dishes

At our breakfast buffet you will find our homemade jams and müsli made with low-glycemic sugar alternatives and partially house-baked breads from ancient grains.

Our restaurant „Picea“ is the heart of the property, here you will be served your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additionally, during days of excellent weather conditions, we offer Lunch service al fresco on our sun terrace amid expansive and breathtaking views of the Arlberg mountain range. Table reservation is required.

Culinary concept „SIMPLY ENJOY!“

Exemplary dishes of Austrian cuisine made with products from mainly regional producers, with whom our executive chefs are in close contact.

Products from other regions in Austria are also included in this culinary concept. In addition, we offer classics from our own Burg Vital Resort cuisine with international influences.

Culinary concept „vitalCOOKING“

Freshly prepared dishes from a daily-changing menu. This concept offers a selection of regional and national fish and meats, which can be perfectly paired with vegetables and herbs. The "vitalCOOKING" culinary concept also offers a small selection of vegan dishes.

The dishes are always free from wheat gluten, fast-metabolising carbohydrates, and products with a high glycaemic index. They are prepared with alternative sugars: galactose, xylose and erythritol.

Dinner Preferences

The evening menu is designed around these two concepts.

  • Menu with daily changing dishes (partially with herbs, vegetable, fish selection or vegan)
  • Menu with daily changing traditional dishes

Gourmet half-board

This can be taken either at lunch or for dinner. A refund of unused half board is not possible.

Opening hours

During our summer season (30th June to 17th September 2023) and our winter season (2nd December 2022 to 23rd April 2023) the restaurant is daily opened.

  • Breakfast 7.30 am to 10.30 pm
  • Lunch 12.00 pm to 2.30 pm
  • Afternoon menu 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm
  • Dinner from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm
