Innovation in harmony with nature - new features of the Burg Vital Resort in Oberlech
The 5-star-superior Burg Vital Resort consists of seven interconnected chalets after extensive renovations in autumn 2017, making it the largest luxury resort in Oberlech. With around 70 very spacious rooms and suites, it offers ample space for relaxation, enjoyment and well-being.
For 20 years, the Burg Vital Resort has been seeking to create an ambience where guests feel at home and employees like to pursue their passion. This endeavor is reflected in the extensive facilities of the resort, which was extended with the renovation in summer / autumn 2017.

A unique concept - novelties in Burg Vital
From the ski cellar to the piste, just beaming would be faster - The Burg Vital Resort is located in a ski-in ski-out zone. Not only practical, but also time-saving, the new ski rental and service is directly in the hotel. From the ski cellar, the lift takes you directly to the piste. The location of the resort in the middle of nature and the blessing that Oberlech is car-free in winter, allow to become one with nature and to explore the more than 305 kilometers of slopes of the largest ski area in Austria, immediately after leaving the house.
Breathtaking Views - Since July 2017, the resort has a heated outdoor pool. Guests of the house have the wonderful opportunity to pull a few lanes outdoor and to enjoy the fascinating view of the majestic mountains of Lech after a nice day on Arlberg`s slopes.
Top gastronomy at the top level
The Burg Vital Resort has three in-house restaurants, each unique in its own way. Modern meets rustic, in a cozy room ambience classic Austrian delicacies are served. The restaurant "das Wirtshaus" with a show kitchen invites guests to look over the chefs' shoulders. The gourmet restaurant "Griggeler Stuba" with four toques of Gault Millau, is an a la carte restaurant where, depending on the availability of the products, an exquisite surprise menu is created, tailored to the preferences of the guests. Patron of culinary Thorsten Probost (Gault Millau Chef of the Year 2008) attaches great importance to the sustainable and careful use of food and creates delicacies of a special kind with a lot of creativity and love. In the restaurant "Picea" with two toques of Gault Millau, guests choose from three different menus the number of courses they like. The culinary superlatives are complemented by the carefully selected wine accompaniment. The wine cellar of the Burg Vital Resort houses treasures from almost the whole world. Over 3000 different wine specialties are waiting to be discovered.
Boundless fun - The new leisure space with more than 200 m² offers ultimate fun for younger guests. Whether billiards, darts or table football, fun is unlimited. While the kids are in good hands, indulge yourself in the newly designed bar area an exquisite glass of wine. Modern design meets Cuban flair - in the new cigar lounge guests of the house enjoy a beautiful Habana along with their malt whiskey.
